The Delicious New Drink Launches This Season

This season, the drinks world is buzzing with bold new flavours, refreshing twists on the familiar, and a wave of launches that are bound to shake up our shelves. Whether you’re a curious explorer on the hunt for the next big thing or simply love discovering a new favourite to sip and savour, the latest wave of releases has plenty to pour excitement into your glass.

What stands out this season is the creativity behind the blends. Familiar staples are being reworked with unexpected ingredients, while adventurous new profiles promise to surprise and refresh. Presentation plays its part too, with bottles and cans as eye-catching as the flavours they hold, designed to turn heads as well as please taste buds.

Bread & Butter Wines

Chardonnay Sliced

Bread & Butter Wines has introduced Chardonnay Sliced (£12, Sainsbury’s). A rich, buttery, oaky character but in a gentler style that suits today’s ‘low and no’. Already a hit in the US, it’s now landed in the UK and is perfect for late-summer evenings, BBQs, or easing into autumn comfort dishes, it’s a wine that makes indulgence feel a little lighter. Serve with a simple roast chicken, a fresh summer salad, or a plate of buttery prawns shared with friends.

Jawbox

Apple & Ginger Gin Liquer

Jawbox brings a fresh, vibrant twist to its Belfast gin range with Apple & Ginger Liqueur (£25, Spiritly). The liqueur pours with a thick and sweet syrup like texture, making it perfect served just over ice, but just as delicious with lemonade or your favourite tonic. On first glance, the almost luminescent green hue can be a little scary but it’s a really smooth drink that invites you in. On the nose, you get crisp, sweet apple and the palate is smooth and warming, with well-rounded flavours that unfold gently rather than hitting with spice. I did struggle to find the ginger it promised but it’s still a pretty decent bottle that will be finished… rather quickly.

Honey Thief

Honey Thief

Honey Thief brings a sweet twist to your tipple with its Hard Honey liqueur (£34, Honey Thief), made in Yorkshire from ethically sourced European honey. Cleverly simple yet inventive, it’s crafted with just honey, fresh spring water, yeast, and a little time, transforming nature’s sweetness into a naturally alcoholic drink. Rich and golden, it pours like liquid honey with a nose of yeast notes and pure sweetness. On the palate, it starts luxuriously sweet, then mellows into a smooth, full-bodied finish reminiscent of preserves on buttered toast.

Rebel Kitchen

Rebel Kitchen’s 23% Ginger Shots

Rebel Kitchen has dialed up the heat with its new 23% Ginger Shots. Each shot packs a fiery 15g hit of fresh root ginger balanced by crisp apple sweetness, making it a clean, invigorating boost for mornings, post-workouts, or when you need a little helping hand. Keeping true to Rebel Kitchen’s ethos, each one is cold-pressed in small batches, so that the juice keeps all its natural flavour and nutrients intact, and every sip tastes as fresh as the day it was made.

Lacey’s

Lacey’s Strawberry Vodkashake

Bringing dessert to your glass with this indulgent Lacey’s Strawberry Vodkashake (£12, B&M). Inspired by 1950s diner drinks, this ready-to-drink 70cl cocktail blends premium vodka with real strawberry flavour and a luxuriously creamy, vegan-friendly base. Smooth, sweet, and perfectly balanced, it’s ideal for sharing, topping off boozy ice cream sundaes, or creating your own viral hard milkshakes. Winner of Gold at the 2025 IWSC, it’s a fun, fruity twist on a classic cream liqueur that’s sure to be the hit of any gathering, but be warned, it’s dangerously drinkable.
