Whether you shake, stir or mix your cocktails this Valentine’s Day - make sure you impress with one of our hand-picked love inspired cocktails. With a mixture of base spirits of rum, gin, tequila and more to a wide variety of accompanying Valentine’s flavours - think chocolate, rose and candy. We have also included some simple two or three ingredient recipes as well as some more out-the-box, more advanced serves to make sure there is something for everyone. We are sure your loved one will fall head over heels for you when you serve up one of these (just hopefully only metaphorically!) As always, please drink responsibly.

Axia Spirit

Love Supreme

Transport yourself on a romantic getaway to Greece, from the comfort of your own home with this delicious cocktail by Axia Spirit - a Mastiha spirit with notes of rose, cypress, citrus and bergamot.

40 ml Axia Spirit
15 ml Strawberry Cordial
25 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
15 ml St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
20 ml Fresh Lime Juice
Egg White
Fresh Ground Pepper

Shake all ingredients for 10 seconds, then add ice and shake hard.
Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with fresh ground pepper

ThinK Wine Sparkling Rosé
4-5 Cooks&Co Tri-Colour Jalapeños
Ice Cubes

Pour your chilled ThinK Wine over ice in a wine glass of your choice
Add 4-5 slices of Cooks&Co Tri-Colour Jalapeños

Pretty in pink, Eden Mill is the perfect base for this beautiful cocktail - adding both a subtle pink hue and a delicious raspberry flavour.

25 ml Eden Mill Love Gin
25 ml Raspberry Liqueur (Eden Mill Raspberry, Vanilla and Meringue)
20 ml Lemon Juice
15 ml Sugar Syrup
Handful of Raspberries
Egg White

Muddle a handful of raspberries in the bottom of your shaker
Add the rest of the ingredients to the shaker and dry shake for 30second-1minute
Add the ice, then shake again until the outside of the shaker feels ice-cold
Double strain into a Coup glass and garnish with a raspberry.

Remedy Kombucha

Pretty in Pink

Kombucha isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of cocktails, but this Pretty in Pink made with Remedy Kombucha’s Raspberry Lemonade just… works. A perfect balance of fizz, tang and sweetness.

25ml Pink Gin
3 x Lime Wedges
150ml Remedy Kombucha Raspberry Lemonade
Fresh Raspberries (to garnish)
Edible Flowers (to garnish)
Ice

Pour Gin into a glass with ice.
Squeeze in lime juice.
Top with Remedy Kombucha and garnish with raspberries and edible flowers

Mermaid Pink Gin

Make Me Blush 

This beautiful cocktail from Mermaid Gin (Amazon) has a beautiful subtle fruity flavour that pairs perfectly with the dried rose petals (although feel free to leave these out, if you don’t have any)

25ml Mermaid Pink Gin
25ml Elderflower Liquor
5ml Creme De Cassis
2 Dases Sarsaparilla Bitters (optional)
Top with Champagne

Shake the first four ingredients with ice and fine strain into a flute.
Top with Champagne and garnish with dried rose petals

Mijenta Tequila

La Rosa

Using the world’s first (and only) BCorp tequila, Magenta Tequila uses their Blanco (Selfridges) in this cocktail - an artisanal small-batch tequila that has a silky long finish.

60ml Mijenta Blanco Tequila
30ml Hibiscus and Raspberry Syrup
30ml Lime Juice
1 tsp Rosewater
Top with Soda

Shake all of the ingredients, apart from the soda with plenty of ice.
Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice and top up with soda.
Garnish with a baby dry rose bud.

G’Vine

“Be bold this Valentine’s Day and impress your loved ones by stepping away from classic cocktails” says Fred Sirieix, the UK’s favourite Frenchman who has made a simple five-ingredient cocktail using G’Vine (Amazon), the unique spirit made with grapes.

Serves two

90ml G’Vine Floraison
4 tsp Lemon Juice
Approx 20 Red Grapes
1 tsp Sugar
60ml Sweet Vermouth

Blend together the grapes, gin, lemon juice, sugar, and vermouth until smooth.
Strain into two glasses filled with ice
Garnish with lemon peel and a red flower or petal.

20 ml No.3 Gin
15 ml Lustau Rosé
15 ml Lemon Juice 
5 ml Sugar Syrup
Top with Champagne/Sparkling Wine

Pour all the ingredients except Champagne/Sparkling Wine into a flute glass and stir.
Top up with Champagne/Sparkling Wine

Chapel Down

45 ml Pinot Noir Gin
100 ml Brut NV
5 Strawberries

Combine Chapel Down’s Pink Gin and the Brut NV together
Garnish with strawberries

45 ml Silent Pool Gin
Tablespoon of Honey

Mix Silent Pool with a spoonful of honey and stir until your glass is golden.
Sip and enjoy with cubes of ice

30ml Bounty Spiced Rum
50ml Seamoss Powder
2 pinch Sorrel Hibiscus Powder
1 pinch Nutmeg
1 pinch Cinnamon

Stir all ingredients over ice and serve straight up within a rocks glass.

40 ml Passoã
40 ml Vodka
10 ml Vanilla Syrup

1 Passionfruit
Prosecco/Champagne

Fill your shaker with ice cubes, add Passoã, vodka, vanilla syrup, lime juice, and the pulp of half a passion fruit, and give it a good shake!
Strain and serve in a pre-chilled glass, and decorate with the other half of the passion fruit
Follow with a shot of prosecco or champagne straight after.

30 ml Cointreau L'Unique
60 ml Tequila
30 ml Fresh lime juice
Top with Grapefruit soda

Add all ingredients except the soda to a shaker
Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass
Top with soda and garnish with a grapefruit twist

Whether its sipped after dinner, or at a celebration party this nutty twist from Bonne Mamman of the classic martini is sure to get lips-a-smackin’

Egg White or Edible Glue
Edible Gold Glitter or Sparkles
75 ml Freshly Brewed Espresso Coffee
75 ml Vodka
30 ml Drambuie
75g Bonne Maman Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
60 ml Double Cream
Chocolate Shards

Dip your martini glass rim in egg white or edible glue, then sprinkle with edible gold glitter.
Pop in the fridge for 20 minutes
Put all the remaining ingredients, minus the cream and the chocolate shards into a jug and whisk for at least a minute or until completely smooth
Pour into the chilled glass, swirl the cream on top with a few curls of chocolate shards.
