B Bagel Opens on New Oxford Street and We Are Going Straight For Their Legendary Christmas Bagels

There’s something irresistibly comforting about a freshly baked bagel. That perfect balance of crust and chew, and the smell of dough still warm from the oven. For Londoners, few do it better than B Bagel, which has been quietly building a mini empire of bakeries across the capital. And now, they’ve landed in the heart of London’s shopping district, with a brand-new outpost on New Oxford Street.

This marks B Bagel’s seventh London location, joining the likes of Camden, Chelsea and Swain’s Lane, and it’s a welcome addition for anyone in need of a pick-me-up between the bustle of Soho and Bloomsbury. Inside, expect the familiar B Bagel experience: shelves lined with glossy, golden bagels baked on-site each morning using their closely guarded dough recipe, developed to deliver that signature crusty-outside, chewy-inside perfection. Alongside a menu of breakfast favourites, sandwiches and coffee, the New Oxford Street branch is set to become a new go-to for city dwellers and Christmas shoppers alike.

And just in time for the festive season, B Bagel is bringing back its Christmas bagels, which became something of a cult hit last year. The two limited-edition creations: one for meat lovers and one for plant-based foodies, are designed to deliver all the comfort of a Christmas dinner, wrapped up in one gloriously festive bite.

The Holly Jolly Turkey Bagel (£9.50) is the ultimate crowd-pleaser: tender pulled turkey layered with cranberry sauce, festive cabbage, mayo and spinach (because we all need a little bit of health now and again), topped with a dusting of bagel crumble, and served with a side of brandy-infused gravy for dipping. It’s indulgent, satisfying and unapologetically Christmassy.

Meanwhile, the Tofu Tinsel Treat (£9.50) proves that plant-based doesn’t mean missing out on flavour. Roasted tofu steps in for turkey, paired with vegan mayo and all the same seasonal trimmings. Both versions are available to eat in (served with salad or crisps) or to take away, perfect for lunch breaks or late-night snack runs after a festive night out.

“We’re rounding off an incredible year for B Bagel by bringing back our much-loved Christmas bagels,” says founder Yoav Baumgarten. “Last year they became the perfect festive treat for hungry Christmas shoppers, bleary-eyed partygoers and anyone in need of a little seasonal comfort. We can’t wait to share them with Londoners once again.”

B Bagel

Whether you’re braving Oxford Street for gifts or meeting friends for a pre-Christmas catch-up, the new B Bagel New Oxford Street is an inviting new spot to pause and refuel. And with those brandy-gravy-dipped festive bagels back on the menu across all B Bagel stores, there’s never been a better time to bagel and be merry.
